What is Mindful Life Project?
​
Mindful Life Project
 is based out of Richmond, CA. We teach mindfulness, yoga, expressive arts, and hip-hop/performing arts to elementary and middle school students in underserved schools and communities. We have two regular school day mindfulness programs that teach self-awareness, self-regulation, impulse-control, confidence and resiliency. 

Mindfulness is the foundation of our programs – Mindfulness is a specific and intentional practice of paying attention to the present moment without judgment. Through focused and specific awareness, mindfulness builds skills to navigate ALL thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and experiences by coming back to the here and now! Here's a graphic that shows how it works:
